STUDIO TIME: Your session time begins and ends in the timeslot you have booked. You must take into account any time needed for cleaning and putting furniture back as you have found it during this time frame. If you go over time, you will be charged an overtime fee in 1/2 hr increments.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings are non-refundable. A one time credit note will be issued for future bookings prior to the booking date and time. No credit shall be given if the full time has not been used on date of studio booking. CREDITS TO BE REDEEMED WITHIN 90 DAYS from date of issue.
CLEANING: There are cleaning supplies in the cabinets including paper towels, dustpan/brush, vaccum, etc. You will be charged a minimum $50 fee for additional costs associated with cleaning or moving items back to their places after your booking.
FOOD/SNACKS: THERE IS NO FOOD ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO. A CLEANING FEE ($45+HST) MUST BE ADDED TO YOUR BOOKING IF SO. OTHERWISE, THERE ARE TABLES IN THE HALLWAY AS WELL AS A LOUNGE ACROSS FROM THE STUDIO FOR EATING. no food IS allowed on props or furniture.
PETS: there is a $45+HST cleaning fee for bookings with pet photography. This fee is not for cleaning messes left during these types of sessions, rather for the extra mopping and vaccuming needed to rid the studio of any extra residue & allergens left behind. no pets are allowed on props or furniture. Common household pets are welcome in the studio itself, HOWEVER, they may not be left to wander supervised or unsupervised in any of the common areas of the building. Please let us know at time of booking if pets will be in the studio
cake smash cleaning fee: there is a $45+HST cleaning fee for bookings for cake smash photography. Please let us know at time of booking if a cake smash will be taking place or food brought into the studio.
PROPS: if sets are moved around during the course of your time all large items MUST be placed back in original spot before exiting the studio; small items (pillows, blankets, etc) are fine not to be moved into exact positions. If any damages are incurred to wardrobe, props and/or furniture during your booking a repair and/or extra cleaning fee will be incurred. Wardrobe may NOT be used for cake smashes etc. as there is no onsite laundry.
LADDER & SWING: the vintage ladder in the studio is a prop and NOT to be used for climbing or reaching anything in the studio. Swing is available to use for sessions at user's risk. We do not take liability for any injury incurred through improper use of props.
Smoking and vaping: (including recreational drugs) is not permitted on studio premises.
OUTDOOR FOOTWEAR: Please leave outdoor shoes by the door on the mat. Indoor shoes may be worn after being sprayed down with sanitizer provided. Please do not step on the furniture in shoes
CANDLES: No candles, open flame, dry ice, sparklers or smoke machines permitted in the studio. Open flame candles drip wax onto floors and other surfaces, causing damage.
GARBAGE: Please remove all waste & recycling when you leave the studio. Garbage and recycling bins can be found at the far end of the west parking lot. If there is garbage left behind, a charge of $50 will be incurred.
NOISE: Be respectful to the other tenants in the building . Be a good neighbour and respect the common areas, bathrooms, parents' lounge and rest of the facility. Please keep music levels to a reasonable volume as the studio is not soundproofed.
LIGHTING: We are a natural light studio and as such, the light in the studio is dependant on the natural light outside. You are welcome to bring in your own studio lighting!
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A SECURITY CAMERA AND ENTRY/EXIT ARE MONITORED. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ADDITIONAL STUDIO TIME FOR EARLY OR LATE ENTRY. It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure proper insurance coverage upon renting the studio. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, damage or theft incurred to persons or property either in the studio or the common areas.
